Creature Comfort Foundation Closes the Year with 100 Hospital and Organization Partners Nationwide
December 31st, 2025 — Creature Comfort Foundation proudly closes out the year by celebrating a major milestone in its mission to support children undergoing medical care: 100 hospital and organization partners across the United States.
What began as a small act of kindness has grown into a nationwide network of partners committed to delivering comfort, courage, and connection to children and families facing medical challenges. As of year’s end, the foundation has reached 34 states and distributed more than 10,000 ComfortKits and Slumberkins, each thoughtfully designed to provide emotional support and reassurance during difficult moments.
Creature Comfort Foundation works closely with pediatric hospitals, children’s health centers, and aligned organizations to ensure that emotional well-being is prioritized alongside medical treatment. ComfortKits include carefully selected items that help reduce anxiety, encourage self-expression, and provide children with a sense of calm and familiarity in unfamiliar environments.
“Our growth this year reflects the power of collaboration and compassion,” the foundation shared. “Each partnership represents a shared commitment to meeting children where they are and reminding them that they are seen, supported, and never alone.”
Founded by Ava Builione and inspired by her own experiences in pediatric care, Creature Comfort Foundation continues to expand its reach through meaningful partnerships with child life teams, pediatric specialists, and nonprofit organizations. These partnerships allow the foundation to deliver comfort consistently and sustainably to communities that need it most.
As the organization looks ahead to the coming year, its focus remains firmly rooted in its guiding principle: Small Acts. Big Impact. With momentum carrying into 2026, Creature Comfort Foundation aims to deepen existing partnerships, reach new regions, and continue growing its network of hospitals and organization partners nationwide.
“Closing out this year with 100 partners is an incredible honor,” the foundation noted. “But more importantly, it’s a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can ripple outward in powerful ways.”
