Creature Comfort Foundation Brings ComfortKits to Pediatric Patients at ChristianaCare
Delaware — Creature Comfort Foundation is honored to share a meaningful moment from its ongoing partnership with ChristianaCare, where a pediatric patient recently received a ComfortKit during a four-day hospital stay—an experience that brought joy, comfort, and connection during a challenging time.
According to Shannon Taylor, BS, CCLS, Certified Child Life Specialist in ChristianaCare’s Women’s & Children’s Building, the ComfortKit was one of the patient’s favorite moments during her hospitalization. Carefully curated to support emotional well-being, Creature Comfort Foundation’s ComfortKits include tools that help children process big feelings, reduce anxiety, and feel supported while receiving medical care.
ChristianaCare is a nationally recognized healthcare system known for its compassionate, family-centered approach, particularly in pediatric and women’s health services. Its Child Life team plays a vital role in supporting young patients and families through emotionally thoughtful care—an approach closely aligned with Creature Comfort Foundation’s mission.
