Creature Comfort Foundation Celebrates Two-Year Partnership with Cooper University Health Care Through Ongoing ComfortKit Donations

Camden, NJ — Creature Comfort Foundation is proud to highlight its ongoing collaboration with Cooper University Health Care, the foundation’s very first hospital partner and a leading pediatric care provider in the region. Over the past two years, Creature Comfort Foundation has continued to supply Cooper’s Child Life Program with ComfortKits and Slumberkins, helping bring comfort, courage, and emotional support to children receiving care at the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper.

This long-standing partnership began with Cooper’s early belief in the foundation’s mission to support the emotional needs of children in medical environments. Today, Cooper’s Child Life specialists continue to play a vital role in distributing ComfortKits—curated packages filled with grounding tools, creative activities, and plush emotional-support companions—to pediatric patients facing anxiety, fear, or extended hospital stays.

“We have been loving these boxes for our kiddos!” shared Jenn, a member of Cooper’s Child Life team. “Our patients and families truly enjoy them, and we appreciate having them available on our unit.”

The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper provides high-quality, family-centered pediatric care for children across South Jersey and the greater Philadelphia region. Their Child Life specialists work closely with patients to reduce stress and enhance coping through play, education, and emotional support—making the ComfortKits a natural and deeply appreciated addition to their care offerings.

A Partnership Rooted in Purpose

As the foundation’s first hospital collaborator, Cooper helped shape the impact that Creature Comfort Foundation continues to build nationwide. The continued relationship reflects a shared commitment to improving the emotional and psychological well-being of young patients.

“We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Cooper University Health Care,” said the Creature Comfort Foundation team. “Their early support allowed us to bring Ava’s mission to life, and we remain honored to keep their Child Life team fully stocked with ComfortKits and Slumberkins for the children they serve.”
