Creature Comfort Spreading Comfort at the Native American Community Clinic

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Creature Comfort Foundation is proud to announce its latest partnership with the Native American Community Clinic (NACC), bringing the gift of comfort and healing to children in the Twin Cities. As part of this collaboration, Creature Comfort Foundation delivered Slumberkins Bigfoot Kin plush companions and self-esteem booklets, designed to help children cope with fear, anxiety, and life’s difficult moments.

Founded in 2003, NACC has been a cornerstone in addressing health disparities among the urban Native American community. With services spanning medical, behavioral health, dental, and substance abuse care, NACC’s holistic approach goes beyond treatment by incorporating spiritual care, traditional healing, and community-based support.

“NACC is so excited to announce a new partnership with Creature Comfort Foundation. For any child struggling with anxiety, fear, or just going through something hard in life, the little Sasquatch plushies and self-esteem booklets are perfect to bring a bit of comfort to their visit to NACC,” said Erin Collins, MPH, Population Health Program Manager at NACC.

This donation supports the shared mission of both organizations: to uplift children and families by addressing not just physical health, but also emotional and spiritual well-being. By providing Slumberkins and ComfortKits, Creature Comfort Foundation helps hospitals and clinics reduce stress, spark creativity, and give children a sense of normalcy during difficult times.
